Scope
This policy applies to Lotix, the marketing website at https://lotix.io, the app at https://app.lotix.io, and related services that link to this policy. It does not apply to websites, platforms, payment flows, AI providers, or other third-party services that publish their own privacy notices.
Lotix is built for production-minded creative teams. The information we collect depends on how you use the service: browsing the website, starting paid access, joining a workspace, uploading production references, generating takes, or participating in review workflows.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information created while you use Lotix, and limited technical information collected automatically.
- Account and contact information, such as name, email address, workspace membership, invitations, roles, and authentication details.
- Production workspace content, such as project names, sequences, scenes, shots, prompts, settings, production assets, source images, source videos, reference materials, generated takes, review states, dailies context, and related metadata.
- Billing and transaction information, such as plan status, token purchases, invoices, receipts, and payment status. Payment card details are handled by Stripe or another payment processor, not stored directly by Lotix.
- Usage, device, and analytics information, such as pages viewed, referring pages, browser type, device type, approximate location, performance data, session data, and interactions with the website or app.
- Support, trust, and compliance information, such as messages you send us, legal company or contact details you submit, intended-use information, rights or consent declarations, and materials needed to review safety, trust, or abuse reports.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, debug, and improve Lotix.
- Create and manage accounts, workspaces, subscriptions, token balances, project access, invitations, and role permissions.
- Process prompts, references, settings, uploaded media, and related project context so requested AI generation and reference-sheet workflows can run.
- Show generated takes, review states, project history, dailies, billing status, and other workspace activity to authorized team members.
- Review, scan, audit, preserve, restrict, remove, or investigate accounts, workspaces, project content, uploaded media, generated output, prompts, references, logs, and related metadata to enforce our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Copyright Policy, provider rules, rights obligations, security requirements, and legal obligations.
- Analyze website and product usage, measure performance, understand conversion paths, and improve onboarding and product design.
- Send service, billing, security, product, legal, and support communications.
- Detect, prevent, investigate, or respond to fraud, abuse, rights issues, policy violations, security incidents, and legal requests.
AI generation and provider processing
When you ask Lotix to generate or process creative material, we may send the prompt, settings, frame anchors, uploaded references, source images, source videos, project asset context, and related metadata needed to complete that request to the relevant AI or infrastructure provider.
Current Lotix video generation support is centered on Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.0 Fast through the provider path used by the app. Character reference sheet generation may use OpenAI image generation. Provider access, policies, and technical behavior can change over time.
Do not upload personal information, confidential material, copyrighted work, likenesses, voices, trademarks, client materials, or other protected content unless you have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to use that material in Lotix and in the requested generation workflow.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide Lotix, operate the business, protect the service, or comply with law.
- Authorized workspace members may see project content, generated takes, review states, billing-related workspace information, and activity based on their roles and permissions.
- Service providers may process information for hosting, storage, analytics, authentication, payments, email delivery, customer support, security, infrastructure, AI generation, media processing, and related operations.
- Payment processors receive information needed to process subscriptions, token purchases, taxes, fraud checks, invoices, and refunds or disputes.
- AI and media providers receive the prompts, references, media, settings, and metadata needed to complete the generation or processing request you start.
- Legal, safety, security, trust, and compliance personnel, contractors, advisors, service providers, and recipients may receive information when reasonably needed to audit accounts or workspaces, enforce policies, prevent harm, respond to legal process, protect rights, investigate suspected abuse, or support takedown and rights-review workflows.
- A successor organization may receive information if Lotix is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
Sale and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not currently describe Lotix as a cross-context behavioral advertising product.
Some privacy laws define sale or sharing broadly. If Lotix begins using advertising technologies or other data practices that require an opt-out right, we will update this policy and provide the required choices.
Cookies and analytics
Lotix uses cookies and similar technologies for necessary app functionality, security, checkout flows, analytics, and performance measurement. The marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and product interest.

Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Lotix, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
Project content, generated media, and related metadata may remain in a workspace until deleted by an authorized user or until the account or workspace is closed, subject to backups, legal holds, safety reviews, billing records, and technical retention requirements.
After a paid subscription is canceled, expires, or remains unpaid in a way that closes or disables the account or workspace, Lotix will delete the user's video and media data and delete or de-identify related app data within 90 days of the effective cancellation, expiration, non-payment closure, or workspace closure date.
For clarity, this includes production data stored in app databases, object storage, media storage, derivative storage, and related infrastructure, including Cloudflare R2 where used by Lotix. Covered data includes uploaded source videos, uploaded source images, reference videos, reference images, production assets, generated video takes, generated media, previews, thumbnails, derivative files, dailies media, shot plans, prompts, project records, scene and sequence records, review states, and related workspace metadata.
Some information may be retained longer where needed for billing records, tax records, fraud prevention, chargebacks, dispute resolution, legal holds, safety or compliance investigations, abuse prevention, backup integrity, security, or enforcement of our agreements. Backup copies may persist for a limited additional period before being overwritten in the ordinary course.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use strong account credentials, protect invitation links, and avoid uploading materials that do not belong in a shared production workspace.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can update certain account and workspace information in the app, delete or change project content where your role permits, cancel subscriptions through the available billing flow, and use browser or device controls to limit cookies and analytics.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or opt out of certain processing. These rights can be subject to verification, exceptions, and limits under applicable law.
Children
Lotix is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Lotix, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
International use
Lotix is operated from the United States. If you use Lotix from another country, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Lotix or its service providers operate.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as by updating this page, notifying account holders, or presenting notice in the app.
